  • Delegates are sorted into committees are based on real-life bodies, such as committees of American Congress, where legislation is drafted

  • They are then assigned to represent a person or a country

Substantive and Policy-Based

  • Debate is organized around two briefings, background guides that are released pre-conference

  • Delegates are expected to debate and then write bills or resolutions at conference, support materials are available on the delegate portal

Emphasis on Collaboration and Education

  • Delegates are expected to collaborate with other students in writing and presenting bills

  • Committees are chaired by Harvard undergraduate students who guide debate and bill writing and provide personalized support and feedback to delegates
