Delegates are sorted into committees are based on real-life bodies, such as committees of American Congress, where legislation is drafted
They are then assigned to represent a person or a country
Substantive and Policy-Based
Debate is organized around two briefings, background guides that are released pre-conference
Delegates are expected to debate and then write bills or resolutions at conference, support materials are available on the delegate portal
Emphasis on Collaboration and Education
Delegates are expected to collaborate with other students in writing and presenting bills
Committees are chaired by Harvard undergraduate students who guide debate and bill writing and provide personalized support and feedback to delegates
