GROUP OF 20
The G-20 is a group formed by nineteen countries with the largest economies plus the European Union that provides a forum for dialogue in order to promote meaningful and effective economic development. It works to address major issues related to the global economy, such as international financial stability, climate change mitigation, and sustainable development.

Wesal Haroun is a junior at Harvard College studying Applied Mathematics and Computer Science. She is from Iowa City, IA and is a proud Sudanese-American. In addition to Harvard Model Congress, Wesal is involved in Harvard Consulting on Business and the Environment, the Harvard Undergraduate Foreign Policy Initiative, and Harvard Women in Business. She is passionate about making a positive impact through business, policy, and technology. In her free time, she enjoys spending time with friends, traveling, and going on runs.
